Fourth of July Mess

Well our first 4th of July in the states in 5 years was, well, messy. We had a bar-b-que over at our house and Allison bought Elmo and Cookie Monster cupcakes for all the kids. As you will see, they loved wearing them more than eating them.

Circus Pics

Here are some pics from the Ringling Bros circus that we took the boys to today. You'll see the video from it below - they absolutely loved it. The first pick is of Allison holding Daniel. Our friends Rob and Kari and their two little girls were with us.

The elephants were their favorite. They especially liked when they pooped and the clowns had to go pick it up (that was my favorite too).


Being in the first row was great. They were looking up at the trapeez (or however you spell that). It looks like our friend Rob was even more amazed thatn the boys.
Well, they didn't love every minute of it. Daniel is crying because there were A LOT of not-so-manly men that were dancing around, and he just wanted the elephants and tigers to come back. It was supposed to be the circus, after all.

Boys First Circus

We took the boys to the Ringling Bros Circus today and they loved it. Their bathroom is all jungle animals, and when the saw elephants and tigers for real for the first time they couldn't take their eyes off them. We had front row seats which were great, except for the cable and wires in front of us. They didn't like the clowns too much, but who does? Those people need to get real jobs. It was so fun to watch them laugh and dance to the music. We're going to take them to San Diego sometime this summer to Sea World and the Zoo (military gets in free to both!) and I know they'll love that as well.

Here is a slideshow of the boys playing at the "splash pad" right next to our house. They loved it and I'm sure will love it more as the temp will climb another 20-25 degrees as the summer starts. We've been here about 2 weeks and love it. Our community is beautiful and there are plenty of playgrounds right next to our house for the boys. We'll post pics of our house when we fix it up a little bit more - still lots of unpacking to do!

Finally Home

Allison and the boys are finally home. Here are pictures of them in the airplane. The USAF pays for their seats, so taking the car seats on the plane was just about the greatest thing ever. There are also pics of them in Mississippi - the 3rd baby in the tub is Stephanie's little boy Zack (Allison's sister).

First Hours Of Life...

Nap time

Here are a couple pics of the boys taking a nap. We put them in our bed when they take their morning and afternoon naps. When they lay next to each other, they talk and play as they fall asleep. They sometimes hold hands when they fall asleep as you can see in the second picture.
